5. Client Responsibilities

- Obtain landlord, neighbour, or authority permissions
- Allow working hours and access as required
- Keep non-workers clear of active areas
Delays caused by client restrictions may incur additional costs.
6. Materials & Installation
Material selections are confirmed in advance. Natural variations in colour, texture, and finish are not considered defects.
If specified materials are unavailable, we may offer suitable alternatives of similar quality.
7. Programme & Delays
Start dates and durations are estimates. Work is weather-dependent and may be delayed due to adverse conditions, supply issues, or safety concerns. Delays do not create liability for compensation.
Revised schedules will be communicated where possible.
8. Payments
Payment terms are stated in quotations or contracts. Deposits and staged payments may be required.
We reserve the right to:
- Pause work for overdue payments
- Charge interest on late payments
- Withhold completion until full payment is received
Materials supplied may remain our property until fully paid where stated.
9. Cancellations
Cancellations must be in writing. Clients may be charged for:
- Work already completed
- Materials ordered or delivered
- Labour already allocated
- Non-recoverable costs
Custom or special-order materials are usually non-refundable.
10. Warranties & Aftercare
Workmanship warranties, if offered, are stated in writing. Warranties exclude:
- Normal settlement or bedding-in
- Weather damage or misuse
- Lack of maintenance
- Third-party interference
Plants and turf require client care for establishment and longevity.
11. Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to the value of the contracted works. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use, enjoyment, or profit.
This does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or where exclusion is prohibited by law.
